What is a one-job Grok Bot?

A one-job bot is an AI assistant scoped to a single, named outcome — not a general chat that “helps with everything.”

The idea

Instead of one overloaded assistant, you run several small ones: an inbox triager, a calendar briefer, a site publisher, a deal scout. Each has a clear job, a standing wake (a routine), and hard anti-jobs so it does not wander into email sends, X posts, or another bot’s lane.

What “one job” looks like in practice

Why people search for this

Do-everything chat agents burn tokens, lose the plot across weeks, and mix personal and business work. Narrow bots are usually cheaper to run and easier to audit.
